HP-G55N
Poor product identification during
zinc coating may increase the costs for the company.
Reliable identification can help avoid
mixing between production batches, reduce the risk of
quality problems resulting in claims for
product liability, improve traceability,
monitor production and
eliminate human mistakes resulting both from
reading and writing errors. The HP-G55N tags
enable reliable identification of workpieces
processed by hot-dip zinc coating. The
material can be printed with human and machine-
readable data using a thermal transfer
printer. The finished tags can be
easily secured to the workpiece using a wire.
The tags are resistant to typical processes of
cleaning, melting, dipping in melted zinc
at 450°C, and downstream finishing.
Typical applications:
- Machine components
- Piping
- Structural elements
- Wiring
- Tanks
- Tools
- Sheet metal
Features:
- Ensures reliable management of the hot-dip zinc coating process
- Excellent chemical resistance
- Resistance to temperatures of up to 1100°C
- Markable by thermal transfer printing
- Suitable for heat treatment, also in vacuum
Example of use:
A standard thermal transfer printer can be used for marking the HP-G55N tags. The printer can be installed near the process and print the tags JIC (just-in-time). The tag size can be specified for the particular application.
